Summary
We have an immediate need for a SalesForce Administrator. This position is on-site at our HQ in NJ. The incumbent would support our I.T., Marketing/Sales, Accounting, and other departments with administering SalesForce, and potentially other various applications. Priority will first be given to ensuring completion and launch of SalesForce and continuing to administer SalesForce. Other Application responsibilities, depending on applicant knowledge and skill level, may include managing Applications and Databases that integrate to our ERP system Epicor Prophet 21, implementing Business Intelligence tools, and completing other related Marketing/Sales or I.T. projects. The candidate will analyze company and user needs, recommend solutions, determine best configuration and implementation of applications, providing training, troubleshooting and support as required. Salary to commensurate w/experience.
Responsibilities
1. As it pertains to SalesForce:
a) Drive the implementation, adoption and ongoing use and expansion of SalesForce, within the company
b) Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems, products and integrations to our ERP
c) Collect and document new requirements from users and stakeholders and seek change approval from management
d) Evaluate, test and upgrade to new SalesForce releases, to solve business needs
e) Configure SalesForce system as required, which may include (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
f) Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing
g) When unsure of issue or solution relating to P21 integration, open support tickets with Epicor and follow-through on solution
h) Document processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables
i) User and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
j) Work with SalesForce contractors or agencies that may have assisted in our SalesForce development
k) Create user training material and provide classes and ongoing user training and support, monitor user adoption, and process support tickets
2. Other possible tasks, depending on knowledge and skill level:
a) Oversee the completion of executive GUI dashboard needs, using the Business Intelligence tool Power BI; Also consider Domo or later Epicor’s GROW for additional BI needs
b) Create Ad-hoc SQL reports using SQL Server Management Studio and occasionally Crystal Reports-and publish working SSMS reports using Microsoft SSRS (SQL Server Reporting System)
c) As it pertains related Applications/Servers:
i. Configure and maintain servers and processes
ii. Monitor system health and performance
iii. Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability & security
iv. Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
v. Provide suggestions for solutions
vi. Refine & automate regular processes, track issues, document changes vii. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
viii. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
3. Research and resolve help desk tickets associated with SalesForce, ERP integration issues, and issues with other tools in use (SQL Server, SSRS, BI Tools or other related I.T. software)
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline
· Two+ years’ experience with SalesForce implementation and administration – ideally with SalesForce certification, or someone actively pursuing certification (on their own time)
· An active Trailhead profile with a history of successful courses taken, who can speak of previous SalesForce implementations
· A minimum of two years reading and coding ad-hoc SQL Reports from ERP data using SQL Server Management Studio
· Experience publishing and automating reports on Microsoft SSRS
· Familiarity with next-generation Business Intelligence tools/reporting such as GROW, Domo or PowerBI
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal. Good listener
· Proactive, willing to go the extra mile and have flexibility to change
· Organized, detailed-oriented, team player, self-starter and with an eagerness to learn
Plusses:
· Experience administering, optimizing and securing Microsoft SQL Server 2019
· Experience with Epicor Prophet 21, SAP S/4HANA, or other related ERP or warehouse management systems
· Experience with EDI including mapping and communication and mapping troubleshooting
