Primary Responsibilities:
- Interacting with enterprise senior leaders and/or outside counsel on complex issues
- Developing, translating, and executing legal strategies for the enterprise
- Act as internal antitrust counsel across the enterprise to navigate competition issues created by organic growth and acquisitions under national and international laws and regulations
- Provide antitrust guidance on (1) litigation, M&A, procurement, licensing agreements and similar transactions, including strategic planning, deal structure and diligence, (2) employment matters and (3) and data ownership, use, release and governance
- Consult and advise legal and business colleagues on other business initiatives that may raise antitrust or anti-competitive risks
- Assist in responding to governmental and other third party subpoenas/inquiries
- Advise on potential conflicts of interest, including mitigation and remediation
- Develop and conduct antitrust training in coordination with compliance

Required Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in any U.S. Jurisdiction
- 8+ years of relevant antitrust experience
- History working on healthcare antitrust issues, including those involving health plans and care delivery organizations/PBMs/pharmacies
- Deep knowledge of US Competition laws including counseling, litigations, government investigations, and merger reviews
Preferred Qualifications:
- Government work experience
- Experience working on issues involving vertically integrated healthcare organizations
- Familiarity with international competition laws and knowledge of compliance and ethics framework for global corporations in connection with competition law issues and programs

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
