Overview
In this role, you will act as the liaison between business units and IT staff and ultimately work with the necessary parties to gather and document requirements and create functional design documents. As projects progress through the lifecycle, you will create test plans and scripts, execute quality assurance testing, and subsequently facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT). You will collaborate with project teams to assess business unit impacts and create communication and training materials for the rollout of new initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Business analysis
- Liaison between the business and information technology organization in order to define functional and technical solutions to meet end user, business, and ongoing operational needs.
- Serve as an integral participant in the business process redesign and documentation for new or changing technology.
- Documents agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business and information technology from initial requirements to final implementation.
- Creates or participates in the development of materials used to facilitate the adoption of change by end users including policies and procedures; operational and business processes; training materials, end user guides and communications.
- Educates impacted parties on enhanced functionality through training and communication, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Provides feedback on IT processes and procedures to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
- Quality Assurance (QA) Analysis & Testing

- Support holistic testing efforts for multiple projects and software releases, including integration, system, regression, performance and user-acceptance testing.
- Develops and executes test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure systems align to approved requirements.
- Track QA defects, working with IT staff to resolve defects, track test case results, and provides metrics on testing progress.
- Ensure test results are accurate, thorough and appropriately documented.
- Project Management
- Provide project management expertise to plan, organize, manage multiple small to medium technology related projects simultaneously.
- Acts as administrator and subject matter expert for enterprise project portfolio management (PPM) solution.
- Manage project scope, budget, and timeline and acquires the necessary approval for change requests.
- Collaborate with IT and business staff to develop and maintain the project schedule.
- Work with functional managers across the organization, external parties and/or vendors to assure appropriate resourcing of projects.
- Communicate project status to project stakeholders, decision makers, sponsors and project team members.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent education or work-related experience. Four or more years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, and/or quality assurance analyst required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, conflict management, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, primarily OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio.
- Demonstrated skill in managing project scopes, timelines, and budgets. Skilled in the use of project management software to manage projects, e.g., Microsoft Project, Daptiv PPM, CA PPM
- Ability to create structure and organize projects into a logical and intuitive manner.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Certification preferred.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
