Lockheed Martin is seeking an emerging authority Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer with an active Secret clearance for a position in Grand Prairie, TX working with advanced missile systems.
What You Will Be Doing Representative areas of responsibility include performance analysis, generation of error budgets, hardware in the loop analysis, simulation modeling, fire control algorithm development, engage-ability analysis, development and refinement of guidance laws and autopilot algorithms, flight test support, seeker algorithm and truth modeling, and conducting trade studies.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) assignments:
●Perform Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis
●Develop and analyze guidance and/or autopilot algorithms.
●Contribute to the definition of an operational flight program (OFP) with integrated high fidelity 6DOF simulations.
●Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses.
●Demonstrate strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformation.
**Must have Final Secret Clearance to start
Desired Skills:●Strong M&S background
●Experience with ARISE is a plus but not required

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
