Description:This exciting position is for a Software Engineering Manager of the F-22 Display and Core Processing Software Team located in Fort Worth, TX. You will have multiple responsibilities including, leading the development of F-22 core processing and display software and collaborating with other F-22 teams to support software integration and flight test. Expected to manage and status mature technical staff, as well as mentor and train engineers with lesser experience and provide the necessary direction and instruction associated with such responsibilities.
You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers through the full software development life cycle producing embedded software. This role will include interactions with stakeholders (both internal and external) in support of the F-22 warfighter, providing oversight of CAM activity (cost, schedule, quality), promoting/leading our Agile development environment and ensuring overall product integrity and quality.
You will also be responsible for performance management and talent acquisition for both the growth and sustainment of the team.
Must be a US citizen. This position is at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 5 years to be considered.
Basic Qualifications:• Experience as a software technical lead where schedules were created, team members were tasked, and commitments/deadlines were met
• Experience with real-time, embedded software development including requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit-testing, and CSCI integration testing
• Experience managing complex technical systems/programs
• Experience in flight software qualification testing
• Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline required
• Experience leading Agile development
• Special Access Clearances will be required

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
