About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer that will be part of the Archiving and Compliance Operations team who are the administrators of the electronic communications systems of record for regulated data at Wells Fargo. This role will ensure the successful ingestion of regulated data and exporting of the data to the Wells Fargo system of record. The team supports and administers both cloud and on premise-based applications and infrastructure. This team specializes in gap identification, analysis, reporting, and remediation. The team routinely interfaces with eDiscovery, regulatory adherence partners, Legal, HR, and regulated lines of businesses.In this role, you will:- Participate in managing all installed systems, on premise infrastructure and SaaS solutions within the Systems Operations functional area.
- Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks.
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, reporting and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution and root cause analysis.
- Lead and participate in team efforts to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards.
- Validate all electronic communications are captured and archived into the Wells Fargo system of record while adhering to best practices around risk and controls, and all applicable regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications, US:- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 4+ years supporting production Windows Server 2016 or newer
- 3+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise production applications.
- 2+ years of SQL queries
Desired Qualifications:- PowerShell experience or equivalent experience automating common repeatable tasks
- Experience supporting SAAS applications.
- Microsoft cloud experience
- Enterprise level production support of messaging applications such as Exchange, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Jabber, Broadridge, etc.
Job Expectations:- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting depending on the task at hand.
- This individual will be part of an on-call rotation. The on-call rotation schedule is non-standard business hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Will need to be agile and show flexibility in managing multiple tasks.
- Candidate will need to manage their time to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Be able to work a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office per week.
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$35.14 - $62.45
