SUMMARY
Customer facing sales role responsible for assigned accounts including revenue, margin, and breadth growth, through customer contact, sales and service; accountable for customer satisfaction, revenue generation, goal achievement and long-term business goals in line with D&H’s vision and values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for sales goal attainment, including the achievement of revenue, margin and breadth goals.
- Create call plans and conduct outbound calls daily with reseller base in an effort to build relationships, sell and assist with opportunities (Minimum 15 outbound calls per day resulting in customer contact action items).
- Contact customers via email and with email campaigns.
- Promptly answer phone & email to respond to all customer requests; promptly return all phone messages within SLA.
- Manage and complete outbound call campaigns.
- Work with vendor reps and sales specialists to build component vendor and gaming sales within zone and to grow the revenue and sales breadth within assigned accounts.
- Work with other Depts. including Buying and Credit to grow sales, build the zone, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend sales and product trainings.
- Attend reseller shows and events to meet with prospects in person if needed.
- Provide customers with product and service information proactively and reactively.
- Project a professional company image through customer and vendor interactions.
- Sell product and enter customer orders in computer system.
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Meet outbound and overall phone time requirements, along with Activity and Busy-ness rankings.
- Use CRM system to track all customer contacts and activities, including completing Business Portfolios for each assigned account.
- Remain consistently current on a monthly basis with completing all assigned Business Portfolios.
- Track and manage sales pipeline via Opportunities.
- Interact with vendors as well as co-owners in other departments.
- Regularly schedule conference calls with customers, vendors, BU’s and Sales Specialists.
- Create and log minimum of 30 CRM Opportunities per week.
- May be asked to work in other areas, as needed for cross training and/or workload.
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and ethics including company attendance policy.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
o College education preferred and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
o Sales and/or technical certifications a plus.
o Minimum of 3 years of sales or phone sales experience.
