- Provides leadership and accountability for performance and results through team of people leaders and professional staff
- The impact of work is primarily at the enterprise level with responsibility for activation of work across all market groups, business segments, and functions

Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of Org Development experts responsible for large, complex programs with significant organizational impact across functions, product platforms, and multiple business segments
- Develop or enhance capabilities/tools that fit the future needs of UHG
- Shapes the strategic direction of the business, requiring a comprehensive understanding of best external practices and research. Expert in application of external practices to internal needs
- Drives innovation and transformation within the organization by building the skills of the Org Development organization, including business-facing partners in the business and People team function
- Influences at the highest levels and drives change
- Engages with all levels of the organization through Executive Leadership across enterprise markets (UHG, UHC, Optum)
- Works across stakeholders in the Enterprise Talent Office
- Contribute to the Organization Development Toolkit, empowering the People Team community and business leaders with a unified approach
- Develop and implement OD strategies, programs, and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness
- Establish a robust process for measuring the impact of organization design and development interventions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and collaborative organizational structures
- Deploy tools and processes that empower the People Team and business leaders to diagnose organizational needs effectively

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role leveraging Organization Development skills or related areas of expertise
- Solid understanding of and experience with theories, models and best practices in organizational design, change management, team effectiveness, design thinking, and leader coaching
- Exhibits a strategic mindset and the ability to drive change
- Excellent leadership, communication, relationship, and interpersonal skills
- Influences and builds relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong credibility with business leaders and effective consulting abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Contracts with stakeholders on deliverables and comfortable working under pressure managing multiple stakeholders
- Solid analytical, data, and problem-solving skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
