Description:You will be the Multi-Functional Manufacturing Planner Manager for the Production Planning and Control team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Multi-Functional Manufacturing Planner Manager, you will be responsible for the management and staffing of 5-8 direct report team members consisting of salaried exempt/non-exempt salaried and/or represented/non-represented hourly employees in the in management of MRP scheduling, and the manufacturing support functions associated with PP&C. This position requires the candidate to have experience working in a union contract environment.
Demonstrated leadership experience including selection, training, performance assessment, work delegation, discipline actions and recognition of employees. Ability to assign projects to organizational unit by leading team members to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and time sensitive technical or operational issues. Coordinate the development of contract proposals and estimates. Develops and administers budget, schedule and performance standards. Responsible for creating, monitoring and reporting on all executive operations metrics.
Prior experience in planning, preparation, issuance and control of production schedules and material requirements to ensure controlled flows of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
Work outside of the normal operating hours may be required
Candidate must possess Full Spectrum Leadership qualities and an ability to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment is essential with a focus on Lean Manufacturing Concepts and Continuous Improvement

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required after an offer acceptance and prior to starting this role.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration on Supply Chain, Operations Management or related discipline.
Strong experience in a ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) based operating system.
Must have SAP experience
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Must have a strong working knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and obtain an interim secret after accepting an offer and before starting.
Desired Skills:
Master’s Degree/Educational background in Operations Management or related discipline
Black Belt Lean 6 Sigma certified
ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
Knowledge of industry wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire production supply chain, including inventory control and material handling knowledge.
Integration of new systems and processes in to an operational organization
Prior experience leading a team of supervisor, managers, team leads and unionized labor
Experience working in development / EMD environments for emerging programs
Experience working proposal efforts
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
