BMC Architect/Engineer/Admin (2 roles)
System Architect/Engineer with 5-10 years of Admin/Engineering or subject matter expertise Specializing upgrades and deployment of the BMC Helix Suite responsible for implementation, foundation data structure, maintaining code, functional capabilities, and systems following delivery and installation in the production environment. Duties include:
· Manage On-premise implementation of BMC Helix ITSM 21.x or higher in a containerized cluster for 3 separate environments
· Troubleshooting incidents and problems with the Helix System as needed
· Create foundation data structures based on customer organizational and support structures
· Performing foundation data updates
· Reviewing logs and system performance following established procedures; reporting anomalies using the incident management process
· Performing patching and deployments
· Ensuring accurate and appropriate use of the system and data via configuration, maintenance,
· troubleshooting, and report development
· Supporting the implementation of system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance
· Working directly with system users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage.
· Diagnosing performance issues and conducting performance tuning
· Facilitating coordination between development and operations
· Performs log and system performance monitoring
· Developing solutions to resolve incidents or support operational requirements
· Ability to produce professional level technical documentation
· 5-10+ years direct BMC Helix ITMS engineering and administration experience
· Strong Redhat and Microsoft OS Experience
· BMC DWP and DWP Catalog (Linux) installation and troubleshooting
· BMC Remedy Single Sign On (RSSO) installation and troubleshooting
· Helix Dashboards installation and report creating
· Direct Experience with containerized infrastructures deploying BMC software on version 21.x or higher
· Troubleshooting incidents and problems with the Remedy System as needed
· Reviewing logs and system performance following established procedures; reporting anomalies using the incident management process
· Ability to use BMC Remedy logs and dev studio to troubleshoot complex workflow
issues
· Ability to work with BMC to troubleshoot complex workflow issues
· Performing patching and deployments
· Ensuring accurate and appropriate use of the system and data via configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and report development
· Supporting the implementation of system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance
· Fulfills standard requests such as report development, foundation data updates, system monitoring
· BMC AR System and BMC ITSM Development using Developer Studio
· Experience working with Smart Reporting or Helix Dashboards and building reports and dashboards using data from the ITSM system and other data
· BMC ITSM Suite installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting
· Ability to coordinate large complex Remedy migration, upgrade, and development projects
· Ability to review complex customer functional requirements and determine how to deploy in Remedy
Ability to produce professional level technical documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170,624.00 - $185,102.00 per year
