About Mytra
We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.
Mytra’s Solutions team is looking for a Solutions Engineer!
This role is the connecting thread between potential customers and the rest of teams at Mytra. This person, along with the Solutions team-members, is the voice of the customer and represents their requirements for contracted deployments. This role will also be guiding the evolution of our product helping ensure we’re building and delivering solutions that drive the highest value to our customers.

- Develop warehouse, distribution, and/or fulfillment operations process flows and diagram overviews
- Support critical business metric development including the unit economics of a generic Mytra grid, as well as for each customer deployment
- Recommend any changes to assumed performance specs and targets for the system in partnership with engineering and operations leads
- Partner heavily with the Software team to develop and evolve our simulation tool and our inventory optimization software
- Simulate customer solutions, new concepts, and prototypes. Interpret results and leverage output for designs and customer value (IRR, ROI…etc)
- Expected to maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape and existing market solutions
- Utilize different tools to interpret customer data sets in a way to reflect metrics pertinent to a final solution
- Configure layouts with the goal to accommodate customer needs and maximized Mytra effectiveness
- Analyze differences between warehouse automation and how it compares to Mytra’s solution
- Communicate customer needs and requirements to the Mytra Product team to help execute the next generation of Mytra’s solution
- Travel to customer sites to gather data necessary to complete a full system analysis for a final proposal
- Understand customer benefits Mytra provides to customers and create ROI analyses reflecting those savings
- You’re very comfortable with data interpretation, and have experience with simulation.
- You are excited about working on an immature project, growing together, and shaping the future of the company.
- Uncertainty isn’t scary, and you’re willing to realize mistakes and pivot.
- You have experience visiting customer sites and heavily communicating with the customer.
- You understand modern day automation and how they are applied in different use cases.
- You have used simulation to inform business decisions.
- You can convey complex ideas and technical concepts to a diverse audience.
You’re encouraged to apply even if you can’t take on every example project in its totality. We work closely and collaboratively at Mytra - No one takes on projects alone. We seek people who are eager to work together, learn new things, and bring unique perspectives.
