Are you passionate about People? As an HR Generalist / Crew Scheduler, you’ll serve as part of the Human Resources team at our Lancaster, PA Plant. With your passion for people, you’ll partner with the plant staff including Supervisors, Union Representatives and Hourly employees as appropriate, to drive plant engagement and provide excellent customer service to plant personnel. We’ll lean on you to leverage your attention to detail and multitasking skills to produce daily and weekly scheduling, process and manage leaves, metric reporting and more!
Hiring for the second position is 3:30pm-11:30pm schedule, Monday-Friday. Some weekend work and overtime will be required at times based off plant business needs.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Data-Driven – You’ll report on HR metrics as needed, perform personnel file maintenance, and administer leaves of absence.
- Drive Efficiency – We want the facility to operate at peak efficiency, so you’ll contribute to efficient operations and maintain labor relations by accurately scheduling employees according to the plant’s collective bargaining agreements.
- Collaboration is Key – You’ll have the chance to be “hands-on” by partnering with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints.
- Set the Pace – Getting new employees off to a great start sets the pace. You’ll prepare training materials and maintain documentation for new hire orientations, safety training, and job-specific training.
- Agility – Working in a 24/7 manufacturing environment is fluid, and your ability to adjust to changes is crucial.
- Administrative Support – Support Plant projects and events as needed.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Proven strong ability to use independent critical thinking and decision making
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and needs of the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Passion about your work
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift and work weekends if necessary
- Previous experience in a Human Resources environment, preferred but not required
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – primarily Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
