Position Overview
The Project Controls Analyst will support project management through cost control, scheduling, and reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for the construction industry
District Overview
Kiewit's Water Facilities South group is one of Kiewit's leading water/wastewater districts specializing in constructing water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and desalination plants. Although we are headquartered in Dallas TX, with regional offices in Miami FL and Atlanta GA, we also pursue various projects stretching across the country. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry as opposed to design. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software.
- Monitor project costs and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Prepare regular project status reports, including cost and schedule performance.
- Analyze project data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Assist in the preparation of project forecasts and financial reports.
- Support the development and implementation of project control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and provide insights on project performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or cost management.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
