This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Complete preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems including security doors, access systems, badge readers, portal doors, gates, and rollup doors.
Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards.
Follow applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Lock Out procedures. Familiar with Statements of Work, Job Hazard Analysis and Safety documents.
Assist with implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Perform emergency repairs as needed.
Inspect building systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and environmental conditions set by client.
Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
