The Technology Solutions Director leads the process of developing product solutions that align with the enterprise architecture from a business, process, information and technology standpoint. They provide the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required to ensure products and platforms are designed and evolve appropriately. The Solutions Director leads a team that directly supports the business and executes on the finance technology strategy. They become involved with a project at the time of inception and are involved in the analysis of developing the initial requirements. They are expected to work with a broad range of technologies and own the product solution blueprint from inception to production.
Essential Duties
- Lead development efforts for high level product solutions that deliver business value quickly and efficiently while also supporting long term strategic goals. Responsible for ensuring adherence to the high-level solution blueprint throughout the life of the project/program and review and proposed deviations and risks with the stakeholders
- Empowers and leads multi-disciplined teams to deliver outstanding value to the business by ensuring operational excellence at every level. Responsible for delivering high quality products.
- Ensures that the teams can make excellent technical and design decisions with minimal roadblocks and align with best practices and vision for scalability and reliability. Ensures that the needs for great user experience and ease of use are balanced with needs for time to market and reliability of the solution.
- Responsible for resource planning for projects, programs, and DevOps activities.
- Responsible for collaborating on the creation and maintenance of design documentation standards and guidelines. Ensure that standards are followed using automated and manual techniques.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required;
- Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
- Strong experience in product design, software technical architecture and software engineering disciplines for building large scale customer facing solutions · required
- Experience with leading edge cloud technologies to build and deploy reliable and scalable products · required
- Firm understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle process · required
- Stays current on development trends and new technologies · required
- Understands the products and services offered by the Firm, and synthesize them for different audience - preferred
- Eloquent communication skills with technical and non-technical audience - required
EXPERIENCE
- Experience leading agile teams in a collaborative product, and software engineering environment - required
- Experience leading, scaling, and developing diverse software engineering teams - required
- Experience mentoring teams through problem resolution and encouraging staff to share responsibility in problem solving - required
- Experience with personnel management. Resolves conflicts timely and beneficially to all concerned - required
- Experience with Workday, SQL Server, Azure based solutions - required
- Good understating of Azure DevOps - required
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Progressive experience leading software teams preferred · required
- Strong learning, analytical and strategic leadership mindset · required
- Ability to lead geographically distributed teams - required

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $142,800 - $253,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
