About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned senior Quant to join as the Senior Lead of Front Office PFE and XVA Modeling
In this role, you will:- Manage and develop a specialized team of front office Quants with focus on delivering PFE and XVA models
- Play an integral role on the trading floor
- Develop cutting-edge derivative pricing and risk models
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development
- Analyze exposures and participate in structuring transactions to meet client needs
- Lead Securities Quantitative Analytics team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet higher risk deliverables
- Design and develop complex parallel computing architectures, trading tools, and advanced algorithm
- Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Securities Quantitative Analytics
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:- 6+ years of Securities Quantitative Analytic experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:- 6+ years strong experience in Securities Quantitative Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
- 6+ years expertise in front office derivatives modeling in a sell side environment.
- 6+ years experience PFE and XVA modeling
- 3+ years managing a team of direct reports
- Programing skills in model implementation with C++
- Experience partnering with Trading and Sales partners
- PhD in mathematics or like discipline
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
