Senior Manager, Data Product Management
The Senior Manager, Data Product Management is responsible for defining and managing strategic data and information assets used to deliver value to the business. They work in close partnership with Technology Data Engineering on the capture, storage, movement, and consumption of structured and unstructured data. The Sr. Manager, Data Product Management coordinates the organization of these data into enterprise data products, reports, dashboards, metrics and/or insights for use by other value delivery teams, analysts, and business stakeholders. They are responsible for the quality and overall management of these data and information assets.
Manages a team of data and analytics professionals in consulting with business stakeholders to drive business value through data, business intelligence, metrics and insights.
Position Responsibilities:
Data Product Architecture and Delivery
- Leads a team of data professionals in the conceptual data design of data products for use by data practitioners across the enterprise (based on new and established consumption patterns and business requirements).
- Consults with business stakeholders to deliver information assets (i.e., data, reports, insights) needed to support business decision making.
- Collaborates with Technology Data Engineering on logical architectural data designs for structured data assets.
- Informs the Data CoE of data integration opportunities using available data assets to support long term data strategies and CDAO target state vision.
- Informs Technology Data Engineering on consumption needs for unstructured platform data based on value delivery requirements.
Data Product Management
- Responsible for the full lifecycle management of enterprise data products and information assets needed to support business decision making.
- Responsible for adhering to data governance policies, standards and guidelines of owned data products and assets (cataloguing, data quality management, access, and use).
- Approves data access to curated data and/or information assets while partnering with governance teams to ensure appropriate use of owned product data.
- Serves as an active CDAO leadership representative on Enterprise Data governance practitioner committees and forums that support the consistent application of standards across all enterprise data.
Team Development and Culture
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert across multiple data domains to support data integration that accelerates business value and broader adoption of data products as strategic assets.
- Builds a team of highly skilled professionals with strong data and analytical proficiency.
- Develops team members to enable the use of increasingly advanced data and analytical techniques to solve business problems.
- Selects, motivates, and retains high performing talent.
- Manages and develops team cultivating a spirit of one team with shared goals and objectives.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or other relevant technology degrees or High School diploma or GED with 8 years of progressive relevant experience
- 8 years of experience in Data and/or information Lifecycle Management
- 8 years of experience in delivering business value through a core data/analytical discipline (information architecture, business intelligence, operations research and/or advanced analytics)
- 6 years of experience in Data and/or information Asset Quality Management
- 6 years of experience managing others

Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
