We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their visit. There is an immediate opening for a patient care coordinator in our award-winning Chiropractic and Spinal Decompression center in Walnut Creek, CA. You will joining our team of four doctors, eight staff and two massage therapist!This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others in a medical or dental office setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and processing patient forms.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, procedures, and preventative care options.
- Ensure the office environment is welcoming and organized for both patients and staff.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with team members.
