Job Summary:
Republic Educational Services, a division of, Republic Health Resources is seeking multiple skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologists to join our team in Sacramento and the surrounding areas. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. This position will primarily focus on working with school age children in a school setting. We do have various school settings available, between Pre-K to high school.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Monitor students' progress towards speech and language goals.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of speech and language therapy services.
- Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of California, or willing to apply.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for a wide range of speech and language disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Dedication to promoting communication skills, literacy, and academic success for all students.
