Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing security measures to safeguard sensitive information. The Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
- Analyze security incidents and provide timely responses to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of hardware and software.
- Perform computer forensics investigations to gather evidence in case of breaches.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements.
- Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is preferred.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and PaaS (Platform as a Service).
- Knowledge of network protocols including Ethernet.
- Experience with mobile operating systems like Android and iOS is a plus.
- Understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPO) management is beneficial.
- Ability to perform computer forensics analysis effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
