Technology Program Management
We are specifically looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for managing large scale and complex technology projects focused on improving the Hardware design, development and deployment process
The role of the TPM differs materially from that of a project manager and a program manager. A TPM is able to drive issues beyond what a traditional program manager can do due to deeper technical skills and expertise. Similarly, a TPM can drive projects in more depth vs. a traditional program manager. A TPM possesses skills of that of a program manager, project manager with technical expertise that is relevant to the product. In part a TPM allows a platform lead to scale and extend their reach.

- Drive execution and lead the development and implementation process of specific product/services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products
- Customer and stakeholder communication & engagement:
- Document customer requirements/gaps/difficulties & prioritize
- Articulate the current status, progress made and next steps through engagements and weekly status reports
- Convert customer requirements into engineering requirements and articulate them to engineers
- Work hand in hand with designated Platform leads & GPU\CPU suppliers
- Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending
- End to end ownership of overall project/program
- Supervise the project from initiation through delivery.
- Validate and review final products per requirements including reports, test metrics and processes before releasing to customers
- Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Mitigate risks/showstoppers, handle customer issues
- Build required reports and dashboard on Confluence or equivalent.
- Represent the product/team up to the EVP level independently and at a higher level with appropriate coaching.
- Be the most knowledgeable person in the team about the execution, the trade-offs and the whys behind them.
- Ability to explain your team's analyses and recommendations to leadership while discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers and product managers.
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to changing or ambiguous situations, directing changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.
