DISTRITO T-Mobile is Puerto Rico and the Caribbean’s premier entertainment destination, combining the best in dining, art, entertainment, music, technology, and hospitality. Located in the heart of San Juan, DISTRITO T-Mobile was developed with the purpose of creating happy moments through authentic, innovative, and extraordinary experiences, highlighting the best of Puerto Rican culture and talent. The project includes the 177-room Aloft San Juan hotel, the 6,000-spectator Coca-Cola Music Hall, an 8-screen VIP cinema by Caribbean Cinemas, TOROVERDE Urban Park, including Puerto Rico’s only urban zip-line attraction, and over 10 bars, lounges, fast, casual eateries, full-service restaurants, attractions, and other entertainment experiences. The project is centered around a 50,000-square-foot plaza with a fully digitized 14,500- foot stage system with 19 LED screens, incorporating 19 million pixels, providing a 360-experience to visitors.
Job Description:
At DISTRITO T-Mobile we are searching for a high-energy, high-performance individual that thrives in a fast-paced & dynamic environment. The Sales & Event Coordinator will provide support to the Sales and Marketing department through a variety of related responsibilities that will ensure a proactive environment while allowing a sense of collaboration amongst all their members. The event sales coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events.
Objectives:
- Communicate effectively with sales managers and their clients to maintain existing relationships while helping to create and build new client relationships.
- Support the sales team in attaining sales targets & strategies.
- Provide sales and administrative support through various office duties such as answering the phone, making calls to vendors, managing calendars, scheduling and participating in site visits, serve as the sales contact and serve as liaison in our private and internal events, among others.
- Work on sales analysis and prepare monthly, weekly, or daily sales reports as requested by the Director of Sales & Sales Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of sales strategy as prepared by the Sales & Marketing Managers.
- Assist Sales Manager during the planning process of private events or activations hosted at DISTRITO T-Mobile based on operational requirements.
- Foster benchmark analysis of related services and products or venues that will contribute to the development of business opportunities and analytical efforts to generate revenue and other results.
- Identify client requirements and expectations.
- Liaison with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders.
- Manage event set-up, teardown, and follow-up processes.
- Book venue, entertainers, photographers, and scheduling speakers if needed.
- Oversee staff and volunteer scheduling and coordination.
- Collaborating with clients and supporting in the development of event proposals and budgets.
- Send and evaluate post-event evaluations.
- Assist Sales & Marketing team, during departmental events while maintaining communication with other DISTRITO T-Mobile’s venues for support during such planning efforts.
- Coordinate and respond to all requests of internal meetings.
- Participate in opportunities and analytical efforts to generate revenue and other results.
- Maintain the Salesforce Sales CRM updated and the reporting system.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of sales, marketing and experiential activities.
- Aid other members of the team, as requested & based on operational needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Having knowledge of CRM programs would be a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, Event Management Hospitality or Administrative field.
- Excellent polite and persuasive communication and presentation skills. Fluent in Spanish and English, verbal and written.
- Experience in sales, preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in event planning and coordination.
- At least two (2) year’s experience in a similar position or as part of a customer service-oriented environment, preferably in the hospitality, event or entertainment industries.
- High energy individual that thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and can work long hours as necessary to complete objectives. The position could require frequent weekend work.
- Position requires proficient computer abilities, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office products.
- Commitment to the mission and values of PRISA GROUP & DISTRITO T-Mobile.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Physical requirements: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Candidate should be able to stand, walk, and sit; talk or listen, both in person and by telephone. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items if necessary.
