The Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities (people, process & tools) to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services, Secretary of Defense offices (OSD) and theater warfighters. Our portfolio includes the Assistant Secretary of Air Force for Space Acquisition & Integration (SAF/SQ), Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC), Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP), National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO), US Space Command (USSPACECOM) and US Space Force (USSF). SPA has an immediate need for a highly qualified Strategic Effects Intelligence Planner.
Responsibilities:
Organization within the Office of the Secretary of Defense is looking to hire an outstanding individual with extraordinary accomplishments to contribute to the enablement of degradational effects against the nation's adversaries. Individual will serve as a subject matter expert and strategic adviser exhibiting a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in the application of bespoke military and intelligence arts vital to national security.
Duties include:
- Creation and oversight of complex campaigns utilizing advanced stratagems, tradecraft, and technologies;
- Planning discreet activities and recommending technological applications to accomplish long range objectives;
- Providing objective information and analysis supporting decision making on strategic applications of resources or personnel in high threat environments;
- Building coalitions of like-minded individuals across multiple U.S. government departments and agencies to overcome entrenched bureaucracies;
- Preparing and delivering executive level briefings, reports, and summary papers; explaining complex concepts in relatively simple language; summarizing key decisions; and providing recommendations supported by analysis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of experience supporting the Department of Defense or the Intelligence Community

Foreign language, military experience, and advanced degrees are desired but not essential

Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills; must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers

Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with executive-level advising and interactions

Demonstrated initiative and ability to plan, work, and deliver both independently and as part of a diverse team

Experience supporting IC or DoD Compartmented / Special Access Programs (CAPs/SAPs) preferred

Must have an active TS security clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
