Financial Analyst

That’s why we need you, a Financial Analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our Navy resources can make the most impact.
As a Financial Analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help our client succeed. You’ll work with project managers to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with task leads. This is your chance to work on high-level security cooperation while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team.

You Have:
10+ years of experience with the DoD or Navy
5+ years of experience with historical comparative analysis of financial records
5+ years of experience using the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) System
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)
Ability to employ business process improvement techniques to create efficiencies
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS), SABRS Management Analysis Retrieval Tool (SMARTS), and SharePoint
Experience working with Southeast Asian nations’ Embassies
Knowledge of Maritime Domain Awareness programs or SSCI development and execution for partners and allies
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
