QA Engineer
What does a successful QA Engineer do at Fiserv?
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for writing test cases based on user stories and impact analysis and preparing/creating mock data needed for executing user stories for positive and negative test cases.
You will also set up data in integrated applications, write test automation scripts using SOAP utilities or Rest Assured, execute test automation scripts manually or automatically using Jenkins, and set up CICD processes to automate the execution of test cases.
What you will do:
- Provide a demo to stakeholders and get approval for release
- Provide quality certification for the user stories release
- Ensure that JIRA and time entries are in place for QA work
- Work with the development team to reproduce production issues and test towards resolutions
- Certify software adhering to standards and business requirements
- Under limited direction, research, define, document, and prototype additions and changes to ESF products
- Attend Scrum meetings
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience testing APIs and ASP/cloud applications
- 3+ years of experience in automation coding using Junit, Rest Assured, or other frameworks for automating API testing
- 1+ year(s) of experience with Fiserv platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience with manual and automation testing of Java applications and Rest APIs
- Experience with Rest APIs based on Java and the Spring framework
- Experience with Postman and SOAP APIs
- Experience in Rest Assured
- Experience in Groovy or Python
