AFSI Project Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning, executing, monitoring, and updating detailed schedules supporting ICS projects and personnel, including AFSI/AFHE installs, maintenance, and proposals.
- Directing and managing the use of personnel, subcontractors, tools, and materials to meet aggressive schedules, while maintaining value and a quality of work that is consistent with KBR and stakeholder standards.
- Coordinating the maintenance and tracking of project documents, deliverables and submitting that information to management, cost control and stakeholders.
- Overseeing the generation, interpreting, updating, approval, and maintenance of AFSI/AFHE drawings.
- Submitting tailored weekly/monthly reports for tracking safety, costs, materials, and the execution of projects. Creating and maintaining positive relationships while effectively engaging and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Organizing, scheduling, and conducting quality task order status and design review conferences. Preparing and delivering conference notes and meeting minutes.
- Report program status updates to Operations Managers.
- Attend and contribute to program tier meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to pass a NACLC security background check
- 8+ Years experience in the project management field.
- 5+ Years experience in government or commercial fuel projects.
- Experience with fuels systems as applied to AFSI/AFHE/ATG.
- Experience in dealing with Government Contracts.
- Must be able to pass a NACLC security background check.
- Computer and database experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) effectively for daily administrative tasks and project support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active or previous security clearance.
- Current possession of a government CAC.
- Experience with Costpoint.
- PMP, CAPM or similar certifications.
