Day in the Life - Land Supervisor
Lead the Way in Land Acquisition
Step into a leadership role where you'll guide and mentor a team of land management professionals, shaping the future of energy infrastructure. As a Land Supervisor at Williams, you'll be responsible for overseeing the acquisition and negotiation of land rights for our pipeline and facility projects. You'll empower your team to build strong relationships with landowners and company partners, ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic planning, team leadership, and process optimization, where your expertise will directly contribute to Williams' success in delivering clean energy solutions.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Handles the acquisition and maintenance of land rights
- Plans, leads and provides key oversight to the land acquisition process
- Details existing processes, designs process improvements, and collaborates with company partners to implement changes
- Accounts for cost and schedule of growth capital and maintenance projects
- Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for direct employees
- Develops/handles budgets, plans and forecasts; conducts regular cost analysis
- Ongoing identification of continuous land acquisition improvement opportunities
- Develops, aligns, and communicates updates and project completion statuses to project team members
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 12 years’ experience in oil and gas industry, land, real estate or legal
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; Senior Right of Way Professional certification
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Validated negotiation skills
