Job Description Join a dynamic team implementing and providing Security guidance to our Electronic Solutions Business Sector campus located in San Diego, CA. As a Security Specialist Sr., you will work with the Industrial Security team, site leadership and both internal and external customers to support a variety of fascinating programs. This role provides onsite support for the site’s collateral security program.
The candidate must exercise discretion and independent judgement in performing the following tasks: - Interpret government and internal company policies, develop and implement security plans and procedures utilizing the new 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) as well as any other specific programmatic instruction manuals
- Conduct security briefings and provide security guidance to company personnel
- Conduct investigations and interviews of non‐compliance matters and issues relating to security violation
- Completes appropriate documentation according to company and government directives
- Coordinating personnel security actions with Personnel Security team and FSO
- Manages classified inventory including shipping, receiving, auditing, and contract close-outs
- Oversee operation of DCSA accredited Open Storage Areas, Restricted Areas and Containers including adherence to DD 147s, combinations changes, and providing employee open/close training.
- Provide support as necessary during emergencies
- Assist with facility construction and continued accreditation requirements
- Assist with security reviews to include Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) visits, formal self-inspections, and Staff Assistance Visits (internal audits) of other BAE Systems facilities
- Other duties as assigned
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 2-3yrs experience (or related experience)
- Active Secret Clearance (within 10 year scope)
Skills Required
- Must have a working knowledge of contracts, subcontractor and consultants.
- DISS, NISS, SIMS, Word, Excel, Powerpoint;
- Be able to adapt to various daily environments
- Flexible with providing support to programs and project teams
- Demonstrate understanding of the 32 CFR Part 117
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
- Maintain personnel & training record

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870
