Overview
As a Global Travel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management and execution of both domestic and international travel operations, with a key focus on ensuring the duty of care for all Haskell team members. This role involves leading a team, while developing and implementing strategies that align with the company’s global objectives, while also considering local market conditions, regulations, and policies. The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strong leadership, intercultural competence, and a strategic, customer-centric approach to travel management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute end-to-end travel services procurement, including demand analysis, sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
- Oversee corporate travel policies, vendor contracts, and ensure cost-effective management of business travel needs.
- Analyze travel data and financial reports to drive data-informed decisions using procurement tools and software.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure service quality and compliance.
- Monitor unused and refunded airline tickets, ensuring credits and reconciliations are properly handled.
- Benchmark air, hotel, and transportation rates, ensuring cost efficiency and competitiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously improve procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Meetings, Events, and/or Corporate Travel
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc:
- Advanced knowledge of corporate travel with experience in international travel.
- Certified ARC (Airline Reporting Corp)
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to deal effectively with multiple, competing
- IATAN Travel Professional
- Global Travel Professional Certification preferred.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
