As a Systems Engineer,
Electromagnetic Compatibility
(EMC), you will:
• Work in a development/production
environment to design and develop
technically complex systems
• Apply electromagnetic engineering skills
to enable the logical and systematic
conversion of customer needs into total
systems derived requirements and
solutions • Perform functional analysis, timeline
analysis, detail trade studies, requirements
allocation and interface definition studies to
translate customer requirements into
hardware and software specifications
• Perform requirements sell-off through:
Compiling, organizing, performing,
analyzing and documenting completed
compliance verification process which
assesses design performance and
operational electromagnetic issues at both
the package and system levels
• Provide team participation, Technical
Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)
Test Planning, System Integration, and
Verification/Validation of E3 components,
test setup and performance oversight
• Join the enterprise EMC Engineering
group and work alongside EMC domain
authorities
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering,
Physics, or closely related technical field
• Working knowledge of Electromagnetic
Compatibility (EMC) theory - industry or course work
• US Citizenship with the ability to
obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:• Working knowledge and conversant with
Mil Std 461/464 requirements and the
applicable test methods
• Experience with satellite and/or missile
system and/or box level test and analysis
(or equivalent) • MATLAB, Excel, CST (3-D
modeling software tool) and PSPICE (or
equivalent) experience
• Generating EMC / E3 Control Plans,
procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent
• Advanced EMC test equipment
• Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Analysis
• Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems
thinker with the ability to select and apply
appropriate systems thinking skills to solve
problems and implement constructive
change
• Excellent written and verbal
communications skills, strong social skills,
and ability to build consensus among peers
while building solid relationships with team
members
• Active security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
