Job Overview:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Receptionist will report to the Vice President of Thermoflo Equipment and is responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere to our customers and employees. The Receptionist serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. This professional notifies company personnel of visitor arrival maintains security and telecommunications system and informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.

- Possess knowledge of principles & processes for providing customer service
- Knowledge of administrative & clerical procedures – managing files
- Possess knowledge and skillful operation of a multi-line phone system
- Have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- 1-3 years related experience preferred
- Must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test
Scope of Responsibility:
- Answer, screen, and forward telephone calls
- Greet walk-in customers and other visitors and escort them to specific destinations
- Contribute to the security of the office by helping to monitor visitors' access
- Obtain or send information or documents using a computer, mail, or a fax machine
- Perform other administrative support tasks, such as keeping appointment calendars
- Copy, file, and maintain documents and records
- Collect, sort, distribute, and prepare mail and courier deliveries
- Maintain a clean front lobby area including receptionist glass window
- Assist with projects with the Marketing Specialist including ordering stock items
- Be able to cover all aspects of the Marketing Specialist position in case of emergency absence
- Perform all other duties as assigned
