Strategic Engagement and Cultural Advisor
Key Role:
Leverage expertise to assist land lease program initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD). Support the client organization with reporting, strategic planning, and messaging to improve program execution efficiency. Contribute to understanding historical challenges associated with land retention from a cultural and natural resource perspective. Support outreach efforts with Hawaiian organizations, state and local government, local community, academics, and other groups. Provide meeting support and coordination between DoD organizations, local government, and the community. Coordinate client interests across organizations, develop agendas and meeting summaries, and prepare background materials.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working in a professional environment
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Knowledge of the Hawaii State Legislature, Governor’s Office, Department of Land and Natural Resources, and Hawaiian cultural norms, values, and history
Ability to communicate with and advise the most senior level clients
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new subject areas
Ability to function independently and as part of a team
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with federal agencies such as the Department of Defense, non-governmental organizations, or state agencies in an educational or professional work environment
Experience with state or public real estate management
Knowledge of graphics software to create and manipulate sophisticated presentation graphics
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Economics, Environmental Policy, Public Policy, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Urban Planning, Sustainability, or a related field
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
