Description:You will be the Program Quality Engineering Associate Manager for our Precision Fires Programs team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality solutions across multiple contracts, focusing on Component Assessments, DMSMS, and obsolescence management activities.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Program Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will lead a team of Quality Engineers and provide strategic guidance on quality requirements across the program lifecycle, from proposal to production and support.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the implementation and execution of program quality requirements
• Managing quality tasks across hardware, software, systems, and suppliers/subcontractors
• Partnering with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production, and mobilization phases
• Conducting contract reviews and flowing down contract quality requirements to the quality team
• Establishing quality budgets and cost commitments
• Scheduling and ensuring assessments of program quality (e.g., quality audits)
• Participating in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans
• Maintaining effective relationships with DCMA/Customer quality teams

Basic Qualifications:STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above or equivalent experience/combined education
A complete understanding of procurement quality tasks as they pertain to risk management, hardware development and manufacturing, suppliers / subcontractor management, and customer support.
Must possess a high-level of adaptability and have a proven ability to demonstrate focus achieving positive results.
A strong process aptitude and demonstrated advocacy required, including proven technical ability and business judgment.
Must be able to perform in a team and customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal / external customers including Government Representatives and DCMA.
Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Programs, and Procurement on product quality issues and effective issue resolution.
Ability to travel to domestic sites (approximately 25%) maybe required as well as overtime to support production and customer milestones.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher preferrer.
Diminished Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) processes and requirements knowledge
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex.
Quality Engineering or Supplier Quality experience as well as experience with developing and reviewing Quality Standards, methods, work instructional and procedures for inspection
An understanding of the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) SAP
Experience with control and disposition of nonconforming material
Knowledge of Lockheed Martin processes, and procedures related to development and production (e.g. Non-conforming material management, etc.)
Previous Quality experience, interpreting and applying contractual and AS9100 / ISO90001 requirements
Strong product and process knowledge Excellent technical skills, communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated experience with supplier business level reporting measures and involvement
Demonstrated talent development and team building skills
High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
