Overview
The Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) team, part of Visa’s larger Advisory Services function, works to create tangible, impactful financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial-services providers and merchants. Drawing on decades of expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operations and macroeconomics, VCA works collaboratively with other teams within Visa to solve clients’ real-life pain points.
VCA’s Global Strategy & Operations team supports the business unit globally through the development of optimized foundational processes, strategy, and operational performance for the consulting organization. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications, under the Communications & Employee Experience pillar.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Digital Campaigns Analyst include, but are not limited to, supporting the commercialization and socialization of VCA’s thought leadership program and assets in the following areas.
- Email marketing. Support the commercial expansion of VCA’s reputation and brand awareness via external email marketing.
- Support the optimization of external newsletters for user experience to help disseminate VCA thought leadership and grow global subscriber base
- Keep stakeholders informed of external editorial calendar
- Manage responses from clients
- Use email service providers like Oracle Eloqua, to support the distribution of client-facing communications
- Social-media marketing. Support the socialization of VCA’s thought leadership program and assets using various social marketing platforms.
- Ideate, generate, and optimize external messaging respective to the audience, the targeted clientele, and the social platform
- Design parameters for paid advertising campaigns, manage budget, and oversee campaign performance, adjusting as needed and noting best practices
- Extract data to measure and analyze campaign performance according to key performance indicators and present findings to leadership teams to refine strategy and track impact
- Collaborate with internal data and social-media teams to keep benchmarks updated, and inform stakeholders of lead-generation efforts
- Help maintain healthy growth rate of the VCA LinkedIn showcase company page to meet targets
- Search engine optimization (SEO) and Search engine marketing (SEM). Support SEO optimization opportunities for improving engagement on VCA webpages.
- Conduct keyword research to help drive webpage traffic and improve ranking in results page of search engines
- Identify opportunities for content growth, with a focus on appearing in relevant search queries, driving strong brand identity, and owning content narrative
- Conduct competitive analysis, as well as identifying gaps in VCA’s content or areas of improvement on family of Advisory Services webpages
- Support the transition to more user-optimized formatting
- Metrics and measurement. Support with measurement, monitoring and reporting to build our measurement capabilities.
- Pull and analyze data from various channels including Google Analytics (G4), the performance of all VCA digital marketing channels
- Evaluate the success of digital marketing channels and campaigns, create quarterly metrics presentations in PowerPoint, and provide concise, actionable insights to integrate into and improve VCA’s social media strategy
- Internal communications and digital governance. Support VCA’s internal communications operations and maintain good list hygiene for various distribution channels.
- Liaise and connect with the regional communications teams, informing and supporting them on relevant developments
- Support proliferation of regular internal newsletters, connect with regional leads for updates each month to ensure global representation
- Inform and support a culture of celebrating by posting regularly to VCA’s Viva Engage employee community
- Operate with a global mindset and work with Advisory Services regional communications teams, informing and supporting them on developments relevant across multiple regions
- Various other tasks related to data aggregation, reporting, and administrative coordination may arise sporadically
This role is classified as a hybrid position. Hybrid employees have the option to alternate working in-office and remotely. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work in-office a minimum of two to three set days a week, with the general guideline of being in-office at least 50 percent of the time (determined by leadership team and location and subject to shift based on business needs).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Have a degree in journalism, communications, media, public relations, marketing, business admin, business analytics or a related field of study
- Have three or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or have two or more years with an advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Have excellent written communication skills, including a strong understanding of the fundamentals of business writing and be able to modify language and communications methods based on intended goal, uphold Visa B2B brand voice and create written communications that engage and resonate with VCA teammates and other internal stakeholders
- Have strong technical skills and understanding of various communications and collaboration platforms and tools, like Viva Engage, Teams, SharePoint, and html email service providers, know the ins and outs of the Microsoft 365 applications suite
- Ability to handle large datasets with strong attention to detail
- Experience using Google Analytics GA4's user-centric measurement to gain insights into user behavior, demographics, and audience engagement
- Expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), data aggregation, and building out visualization dashboards in Looker Studio
- Design skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, or Figma a plus
- Have strong administrative, analytical, and data entry skills and be able to process and summarize data sets into meaningful, actionable insights
- Be a respectful, reliable team player with an eagerness to collaborate with teammates of various seniority levels and functional expertise, have strong conflict-resolution skills and establish and nurture strong partnerships across teams in Advisory Services and Visa at large
- Be proactive self-starter and problem-solver
- Be a creative thinker with a results orientation who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency
- Have at least two years of relevant work experience
- Be highly motivated to make a difference in payments and able to work independently and proactively in a rapid, always-evolving environment

Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 149,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
