The Commercial Optimization Lead supporting the Gulf of Mexico will be at the forefront of managing sophisticated model integrations that seamlessly link commercial contracts, asset performance, and FP&A forecasting to optimize our gathering and processing assets.

For A Commercial Optimization Lead
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Completes and calibrates long-term gas processing models and forecasts
Develops and maintains scenarios to drive commercial and management discussions on long-term planning and deals
Collaborates with gathering system planners, providing first-line support to commercial and FP&A on forecast questions
Works with Operations and Commercial Development on scenario analysis of maintenance activities, agreement changes, and system disruptions
Orchestrates quarterly capacity review sessions and conduct ad hoc modeling for constraint analysis and debottlenecking opportunities
Generates production profiles based on historic levels and reserve reports to support customer discussions and FP&A processes
Develops and improves reports to meet customer and internal needs, addressing basic reporting and model issues
Performs other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the energy industry
Preferred: MBA; experience in Commercial roles and familiarity with contracts and tariff provisions

Demonstrates outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and PC skills
Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial documents and agreements
