Job Description
Content Distribution is a division of NBCUniversal that drives the North American distribution of the company's multi-billion-dollar television portfolio to cable, satellite, and telco providers, as well as live streaming services, and other digital platforms. A key revenue-generator, the division oversees the distribution of NBC and Telemundo owned stations, all of NBCUniversal's cable entertainment, news and sports networks, the Olympics, Peacock and a variety of free ad supported TV networks.
The Coordinator, Marketing Strategy’s primary function is to support the Marketing Strategy Team in their efforts to develop innovative integrated marketing initiatives that secure distribution, drive distributor and NBCUniversal revenues and reinforces the value of the NBCUniversal portfolio with our distribution partners.
The successful candidate must be passionate about the television and media industry, familiarity with the NBCUniversal portfolio, collaborative, hardworking and demonstrates precision and thoroughness in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and quality in work. The candidate is comfortable engaging in direct conversations with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve issues or collaborate effectively. Must be able to communicate clearly through both virtual, in-person, phone and email conversations, fostering strong relationships and driving solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for distribution marketing partners, building and maintaining strategic relationships at all levels.
- Manage brand assets for partner marketing campaigns and materials. Collaborate with brand liaisons to request, organize and deliver marketing assets efficiently. Monitor the asset request and delivery process, providing suggestions for improvements to streamline workflows. Ensure all assets are properly saved, tracked and catalogued in SharePoint or PowerPoint, maintaining comprehensive records for reference and reporting. Create recap decks to document campaign performance and provide a clear summary of completed work and its overall impact.
- Assist in creating partner communications that illustrate the value of these partnerships for external clients.
- Manage weekly and monthly programming newsletters and communication for clients.
- Responsible for internal invoices for all projects and monthly expenses, budget tracking and assisting with reconciliation of internal department purchase card when needed. Maintain timely reports and track team spending.
- Occasional administrative duties including but not limited to, managing and scheduling team meetings, managing AV and video conference logistics, prepare materials and circulate meeting notes and shipping items.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years professional marketing experience preferred.
- Candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive and reliable with strong project management skills.
- Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Passion for television and pop culture.
- Familiarity with TV landscape including cable, satellite, and telco industries preferred.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends with short notice.
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 years or older.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
