How will you role impact First Command?
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable New Advisor Process Specialist to support and guide new financial advisors in learning the fundamentals of key processes, systems, and technology tools. This role is essential in ensuring that new advisors have a solid foundation to build their practices effectively and efficiently. As an onboarding trainer, you will help empower advisors with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources they need to succeed in our fast-paced and client-centered environment.
What will you be doing?
- Supplement a structured onboarding program for new financial advisors, introducing them to essential company processes and technology systems.
- Ensure new advisors understand client onboarding, account setup, and data management processes.
- Educate advisors on financial planning and CRM software, wealth management tools, and other essential systems.
- Assist in training materials, user guides, and FAQs to help advisors quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
- Troubleshoot common issues and provide support on system usage, addressing advisors’ questions and helping them maximize technology in client interactions.
- Collaborate with the operations, compliance, and IT teams to improve resources for new advisors.
- Gather feedback from advisors to refine training content and identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness.
- Stay updated on updates and changes to processes and technologies to ensure that training materials remain relevant and up to date.
- Offer group workshops or one-on-one coaching sessions to address specific learning needs.
- Serve as a go-to resource for all process and technology questions as new advisors’ transition into active client work.
What skills/qualifications do you need?
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Work Experience
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with many stakeholders
- Prefer experience in training, onboarding, or educational roles
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
