Job Summary
Responsible for participating as a technical expert in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, contributing to new products implementation, implementing existing products and services and providing the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Interfaces with vendors, Engineering and peer operations organizations. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Provides technical leadership to junior Engineers and project teams. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. Does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities. May direct workflow and act as a technical lead. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Core Responsibilities
Apply technical expertise and leadership in configuration management tools, logging and monitoring technologies, and best practices in designing and implementing robust infrastructure.
As the Integration Engineer of TPX, the goal is to provide products that are scalable, reliable, automated, and secure for all Comcast product stakeholders in the organization.
- Responsible for the infrastructure that supports Comcast products and systems
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing, architecting, optimizing, and implementing robust and scalable infrastructure for the TPX organization
- Contributes configuration management code and documentation for secure infrastructure that supports products that perform data ingestion, real time streaming, batch processing, data extraction, transformation, and loading across a broad portion of the big data tools and frameworks
- Help identify gaps and improves the existing security platform to improve quality, robustness, scalability, and security
- Implement monitoring, alarming, and generation of statistics and KPIs to measure effectiveness of infrastructures
- Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Must have Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5+ years overall DevOps Engineering experience
- 3+ years experience with various AWS Services
- 3+ years experience with CI/CD Automation, IAM and AWS CloudFormation
- Programming experience within Python, NodeJS or Bash (Python is preferred).
- Knowledge about Cloud Architecture
- Dashboards and monitoring with AWS CloudWatch, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Grafana, etc.
- Knowledge about Serverless & Containerization on AWS
- Experience with Networking (OSI, TCP/IP) and Security (OWASP Top 10)
Good to have Skills:
- Agile team experience
- Uses judgement and takes leadership and ownership to create infrastructure as needed to support multiple product lines.
