Hourly Rate: $29.00/ hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain guest rooms, public spaces and other hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, wall covering and masonry while consistently meeting/exceeding Hilton Standards
- Inspect, operate, maintain and repair HVAC equipment in the mechanical equipment room and other areas using knowledge of building mechanical systems such as water distribution, steam supply, pressure reducing stations, chillers and boiler operation
- Operate fan systems and maintain temperature controls
- Respond to guest calls for in-room repairs as needed
Job Requirements:
- Technical school or formal technical skills training required
- Must have at least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel
- Must live in the local area or within commuting distance
- Must be willing to work days/nights including weekends
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to converse in basic English
- Must be able to work independently
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must meet grooming standards
