Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced truck driver to help RPSS INC deliver packages for FEDEX Ground. Preferably a driver who is already in the Fedex System or is famaliar with it. Full-Time route that only consists of 50-83 stops out of a P1000 truck. we only Operate Mon-Fri with weekends being optional, 8 hours a day. Pay is $1,000/week before taxes & pay is weekly. If you do not have experience with Fedex its okay, but prior delivery experience/customer service experience is required. We operate in the city of Commerce California & dispatch out of Santa Fe Springs/Norwalk California.
Duties
- Safely operate a P1000 truck to deliver (min.50 stops) (max.80 stops) Monday-Friday. While also Performing 1-4 Daily pickups
- Be able to organize & load your truck for maximum efficency
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or delays encountered.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for efficient loading and unloading of goods.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is beneficial.
- Experience in warehouse operations or courier services is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving is advantageous.
