Job Description:
A CMDB Data Scientist is responsible for managing and analyzing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to support IT service management processes and drive data-informed decision-making. This role combines expertise in data science, IT infrastructure, and ServiceNow CMDB management. The CMDB Data Scientist will play a crucial role in leveraging data to improve IT service management, optimize asset utilization, and align IT infrastructure with business goals.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years experience with ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) administration/integration
Configure/Integrate discovery tools and Sensors with ServiceNow CMDB to import data from authoritative data while ensuring data integrity and ensuring quality, accuracy, and usability of the ServiceNow CMDB
Work in concert with the ServiceNow Administrators and participates in data normalization efforts as needed prior to ingestion into CMDB.
Perform routine audits of CMDB data and works with internal and external stakeholders to understand product demand and help manage CMDB and platform data requirements
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and ITIL processes
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist)
Experience with ServiceNow Service Graph Connector and Multisource CMDB
Experience with data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques
Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure components
Excellent data visualization and communication skills.
Required clearance: current/active DoD Secret level clearance. (Pls. note if you do not have a current/active DoD Secret clearance you will not be considered for this role. We cannot sponsor non cleared candidates for a Secret clearance.)
Work location: On Customer Site in Tampa FL.

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
