Job Overview
Mobile Sales Associates work as a member of our team to bring the Metro by T-Mobile brand to life. They’re sales ambassadors of our brand who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They're passionate about customer service, achieving sales targets and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. They immerse themselves in significant connections with our customers. They continuously work to build expertise in wireless knowledge and have a passion to educate, demonstrate and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning role, where new associates are working with their team and proactively building skills and proficiencies. As a Mobile Sales Associate, you will be required to successfully complete new employee training before earning bonus for individual sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales & service.
- Achieve minimum individual sales expectations.
- Assess customer needs, provide assistance, and information on product features.
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their inquiries.
- Follow & achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, weekly, & daily basis.
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.
- Maintain in-stock, and in presentable condition, assigned areas.
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases.
- Handle returns of merchandise.
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.
- Build productive trust relationships with customers.
- Comply with inventory control procedures.
- Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion.
- Makes the most of their time on shift, consistently seeking out information between customers, learning about innovations in wireless and technology.
- Maintain the front and back of the store with cleanliness.
Pay Structure:
Base Hourly Wage + Sales Commissions
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
Work Experience:
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Provide a passionate customer experience with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun doing it! (Required)
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues. (Required)
- Conversational proficiency in the English & Spanish language. (Required)
- Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals.
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work flexible shifts.
Licenses and Certifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
