Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Owner to join the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Digital Client Experience & Platforms team within Digital Solutions.
As an Associate product owner, you will inform direction and contribute to the creation and on-going success of the latest digital solutions for our clients. You will be tasked with supporting our Client & Account Data Team by taking ownership of various Data and UI related projects, helping to lead the day to day product team activities including Agile ceremonies, requirements gathering and acting as a subject matter expert for Client & Account Data initiatives who can oversee and manage product strategy and partner requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
Translate overall business and product strategy into technical requirements to be developed.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure understanding of product strategy, roadmap, and work to be done.
Prioritize work based on needs and constraints in an agile software development environment.
Partner with program management to align status and milestones.
Present planned work to key stakeholders from business, technology, user experience, risk, fraud, communications, legal & compliance to obtain approvals.
Gather internal and external feedback for insights.
Demonstrate empathy for product users and speak to their project journey.
Promote a data-driven mindset in strategic thinking.
Create JIRA User Stories and detail BRDs (where applicable) derived via stakeholder feedback.
Interfacing with Executives and other Business stakeholders, including Executive Level Presentations etc.
Documenting pain points and initiative impacts.
Data analysis skills including data flow diagrams; technical programing languages a plus
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create or revise functional requirements and acceptance criteria for enhancements.
Analyze existing requirements to identify what must be changed and identify the implications for related requirements based on objectives proposed by internal stakeholders.
Assist in performing ad hoc testing, as needed.
Collaborate with support partners (Legal, Risk, Compliance) to ensure are changes are made in line with firm policies and procedures.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree will be a plus.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in the financial services industry.
Required Skills:
Proven track record of delivering successful digital products on time and within scope.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Data analysis skills including excel

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
