Description:You will be the International Trade Compliance Engineer Staff for the MFC business unit at Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC). Our team is responsible for ensuring seamless export and import activities while maintaining compliance with international trade regulations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the International Trade Compliance Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for applying your engineering expertise to support the development and implementation of international trade compliance strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products, software, technology, and services meet regulatory requirements and are properly classified for export and import purposes.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Applying engineering knowledge to determine export control status, jurisdiction, and classification Jurisdiction Classification (J/C) of parts, components, and systems.
• Conduct Jurisdiction Classification J/C specialist, theory, and xClass application training, for the engineering community supporting hardware classifications.
• Conducting reviews of technical documents and drawings to ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations.
• Interacting with program team personnel to understand products, software, technology, and services utilized in the MFC market segments.
• Participating in compliance plans, projects, and process improvements to support business growth and new opportunities.
• Reviews and interprets technical provisos and limitations imposed on export licenses.
• Collaborating with the MFC Compliance Team on investigations into potential export/import issues and conducting compliance self-assessments.
• Assists elements in identifying and addressing U.S. gov. technology and policy issues and concerns impacting existing and emerging technologies, products, and services.
• Developing and implementing export license applications, technical assistance agreements, and manufacturing license agreements.
• Briefing U.S. government engineering staff and technology transfer decision-makers on product design and performance capabilities.

Experience in EPDM and SAP.
Basic review and approval experience in xClass tool

Experience in preparation and submission of export license applications, technical assistance agreements and manufacturing license agreements.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
