What You Will Be Doing
-In this role, the Senior RF Engineer will have the opportunity to support the development and production of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high-reliability applications in all phases of the product life cycle.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to design and develop circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full-rate production.
-The engineer will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are innovative and ingenious.
-The engineer will act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational products.
-The engineer will have an opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers on our team.
-The engineer will contribute to or author proposals and may participate on business capture efforts.
-The engineer will collaborate with other engineering disciplines to include hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.

Basic Qualifications:• BS degree in electrical engineering or closely related technical field and 5 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
• Experience with successful RF design is required.
*Experience with Schematic Capture, RF Block Diagram Reviews, and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).
• Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues is required.
• Experience with the use of microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools is required.
• Excellent communication and organization skills are required.
• Must be a US Citizen as you must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance and be able to obtain at least an interim secret security clearance before starting the position.
Desired Skills:• An MS in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field is desired.
• Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry is desired.
• Knowledge of RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits is desired.
• Experience leading other engineers on successful technical tasks is desired.
• Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools is desired.
• Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques is desired.
• Knowledge of technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data is desired.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
