What does a successful IAM Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will be responsible for building out Identity and Access management ecosystem and apply comprehensive knowledge of access security controls to the completion of complex assignments including Customer and Workforce Web applications. You will interface with Application Owners and Developers in multiple Business Units to adhere with changes in configurations and support to deliver application security. This position reports to the Director of Access Engineering
What you will do:
- Responsible for the onboarding of applications onto the Ping stack including basic onboarding for new customers of existing applications, or integration with Ping for new applications
- Architect Ping Identity and MFA solutions for a myriad of enterprise applications and federation partners
- Architect and roll out modern Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions using P14C, Ping Identity, Ping Access, Phone-as-token methods, FIDO compliant, SAML, OAuth, One-time password (OTP), Mobile Push
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years’ experience in IT
- 3+ years’ experience in Cyber Security
- 3+ years’ experience in installation, integration, and operations of Identity access technologies which supports federation capabilities using SAML, OAuth, and others
- 3+ years’ experience in development/scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python, and rest API methods)
- 2+ years’ experience with broader IAM ecosystem of directories, identity management, and access management controls and understanding of web protocols and architectures, cookies, diagnosing problems with tools like telnet, curl, Wireshark, Chrome developer tools, Fiddler, etc.
- 1+ years’ experience and knowledge about capabilities to connect to an LDAP server, navigate via command line tools (ldapsearch), write LDIFs, use ldapmodify with proficiency in Ping Directory
- 1+ years’ experience in a senior technical role understanding of the product) with IAM products such as Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, and its components
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT security, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience
What would be great to have:
- 2+ years’ experience in onboarding and managing Web applications with supporting MFA capabilities.
- 2+ years’ experience in development/scripting (shell, PowerShell, python and utilizing rest API components, and implementing access controls
- 1+ years’ experience in producing technical solutions and being able to present to management related to IAM
- 1+ years’ experience in ability to interface with Corporate Audit and External Audit functions for regulatory compliance
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP
