DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Field Service Supervisor to join our team specializing in Service for Cummins Inc. in Downey, CA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Efficient Team Management : By supervising and scheduling Service Technicians and Team Leaders, you’ll ensure that repair plans are communicated clearly and work schedules are optimized for productivity and quality.
- Professional Development : Providing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews will help your team grow professionally, enhancing their skills and job satisfaction.
- Technical Support : Offering first-level support and escalating issues when necessary will ensure that technical problems are resolved quickly, maintaining smooth operations.
- Logistics Management : Overseeing the use of materials, equipment, and personnel will ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient service operations.
- Accurate Quoting : Developing and reviewing quotes for accuracy before communicating with customers will build trust and ensure transparency in service costs.
- Continuous Improvement : Participating in process reviews and improvements will help the team adapt to changing customer expectations and organizational goals, driving overall efficiency.
- Repair Monitoring : Keeping track of open repairs and addressing any issues promptly will ensure that repair plans are completed on time, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Customer Relationship Management : Resolving customer concerns and maintaining strong relationships through professional communication will foster loyalty and positive experiences with the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Knowledge of Diesel and/or Nat Gas engines
- Previous experience working in a shop service environment
- Previous experience ‘scheduling, dispatching, and managing’ service personnel
- Knowledge of Cummins Warranty/Policy
- Ability/experience creating customer estimates/quotes
- Ability/experience creating warranty claims
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Cummins QSOL
- Customer Service experience
- Flexible Work Hours
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, required.
