Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
- Load and unload products efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Navigate assigned routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during the route.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading and unloading processes.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
