What You Will Be DoingAs an Assembly Supervisor (Level 3), you will lead a team responsible for producing high-quality assemblies, subassemblies, and completed units. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Supervising the daily activities of employees in the assembly process to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
• Managing team recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessments.
• Overseeing work assignments and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Leading recognition and disciplinary actions to foster a productive and engaged workforce.
• Ensuring compliance with company processes, safety standards, and operational objectives.
Your leadership will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of production and supporting the success of the Johnstown operations.

• Experience in Production Operation &/or Manufacturing

Desired Skills:• Background of 5yrs experience needed for this position.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 yrs experience working within manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of the manufacturing process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
