THE WORKAs the Lead Instructional System Designer (ISD) on the F-35 ALIS and Mission Planning Environment training development team, you will join a team of ISDs, multi-media specialists, and subject matter experts that develop, sustain, and deliver training products to the F-35 enterprise. You will lead a group of ISDs, manage workloads, create processes and procedures, drive innovation and change in a fast-paced environment.
You will manage a team of instructional designers through multiple projects ensuring resources and schedule demands are met. Coordinates with managers, subject matter experts, customers, teammates, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Assists management with business proposals, cost management and other management duties to ensure the project's progress. Is well versed in agile methods and is Scrum Master certified. Applies the ADDIE model to training requirements, creating, and maintaining courseware and work instructions, participating in program and team meetings, and collaborating with team members, subject matter experts, engineers, and cross-functional teams. Forward-thinker that drives change and innovation. Well-versed in multi-tasking in a high-demand environment that requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and highly organized.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Leadership skills; including coordinating tasking between multiple groups, leading meetings, developing/performing presentations, and working with cross-functional teams
• Minimum of five years on the military training programs
• Experience working within the ALIS or Mission Planning training domains or other military software programs
• Experience working in all phases of the ADDIE process
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Experience designing, developing and implementing military training
• Proficient with core Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiar with agile processes and practices
Desired Skills:• Strong initiative characteristics and teaming skills
• Active SECRET security clearance or recently active SECRET clearance within 24 months
• Extensive experience working with the F-35 ALIS or Mission Planning software suites
• Extensive military or aviation training experience
• Experience working in an AGILE environment
• Experience using JIRA/Confluence Atlassian web-based tools
• Certified Scrum Master
• Previous experience managing complex tasks
• Experience using JSF Data Library (JDL)
• Familiar with the F-35 Training System TCR process

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
